Both Kaspersky & Avast offer a variety of privacy-focused features, including password protection, secure browsing and parental control. Kaspersky is, however, the winner in this category because of its superior VPN and advanced privacy features such as the Data Leak Checker, Password Manager, and Data Leak Checker.
Avast has an account manager for passwords as well but it’s not as secure as Kaspersky’s. The password feature allows you to make sure that your passwords are solid and also checks to see if they have been compromised. In addition, Avast has a Cleanup Premium feature to boost system performance and remove junk files.
Both companies offer 24/7 customer support through live chat and email. Both websites offer a wealth of FAQs and guides. Both offer a variety of device protections like anti virus, WiFi protection and SecureLine VPN. However, Kaspersky offers more security features for mobile devices than Avast. It has a separate app that can detect malware, along with other security features.
